UM PASSO ADIANTE: MATEMÁTICA E EXTENSÃO EM UMA PROPOSTA PARA OFICINAS ONLINE UTILIZANDO O GEOGEBRA

Abstract

Digital culture, alongside the transition context of schools moving into the New High School, indicates the need for formative support aimed at Mathematics teachers. In this article, we analyze the activities carried out in an extension project entitled “Resolution of Problems with GeoGebra”, developed by a team of professors and undergraduate students from the Mathematics Degree course at the Federal University of Uberlândia in the year of 2022. The project had as its main goal to instruct teachers and future teachers of Mathematics on the manipulation of the software and the use of the GeoGebra platform, with a focus on modeling and solving high school mathematical problems. In this report, we seek to discuss each proposed problem, regarding the tools and resources used in GeoGebra and, at the same time, highlight some possible ways to use them in classrooms, in accordance with the skills and abilities provided for in the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC in Portuguese).

Érika Maria Chioca Lopes, Universidade Federal de Uberlândia

Possui graduação em Matemática (Bacharelado) pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (1996), mestrado em Matemática pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1998) e doutorado em Educação pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia, na linha de Educação em Ciências e Matemática (2019). Também fez especialização em Estatística Aplicada pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (2003). Atualmente é professora adjunta da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia e membro do Núcleo de Pesquisa em Mídias na Educação (NUPEME). Tem experiência na educação básica e no ensino superior, desenvolve trabalhos de ensino, pesquisa e extensão, com ênfase nos processos de ensino e de aprendizagem com tecnologias digitais e formação docente, atuando, principalmente, nos seguintes temas: ensino e aprendizagem de Matemática, tecnologias digitais, formação de professores, ensino superior.

Edson Agustini, Universidade Federal de Uberlândia

É licenciado em Matemática pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho - Unesp Campus de São José do Rio Preto - SP (1995). É mestre e doutor em Matemática pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas - Unicamp (1998 e 2002, respectivamente). Atualmente é professor associado na Universidade Federal de Uberlândia - UFU - MG. Suas áreas de interesse são Geometria/Topologia e Teoria da Informação e Codificação.

Giselle Moraes Resende Pereira, Universidade Federal de Uberlândia

Professora da Faculdade de Matemática da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU). Possui graduação em Matemática (Bacharelado) pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (2009), graduação em Matemática (Licenciatura) pela Universidade de Franca (2011), Mestrado em Matemática pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (2012), doutorado em Educação, linha de pesquisa Educação em Ciências e Matemática, pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (2019) e curso de extensão universitária em Educação a Distância pelo Centro Educacional Sul Mineiro LTDA-ME, CESM (2016). Tem experiência na área de Matemática e de Educação, com ênfase em Educação Matemática. Atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Ensino e Aprendizagem em Ciências e Matemática, Modelagem Matemática, Educação Superior, Formação de professores, Docência universitária, Tecnologias Digitais no ensino, Educação Matemática Digital, Educação a Distância e Análise Funcional.

Rogério Nicodemio, Universidade Federal de Uberlândia

Possui graduação em Física pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia(2021) e graduação em Engenharia Eletrônica e de Telecomunicações pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia(1997). Está cursando a graduação em Matemática (Licenciatura) pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia.
