Abstract

Currently, various daily practices have been marked by the intense presence of the digital technologies that have been changing our ways of living. This relation with the cyberspace have developed the cyberculture, which has been especially experienced by young people. This cyborg youth involved in the cyberspace has led to different demands to the Brazilian High Schools. In this context, we present the EMdiálogo Portal (www.emdialogo.uff.br): a university extension project developed by the Youth Observatory Programs from the Federal University of Minas Gerais - MG and the Federal Fluminense University - RJ. This article aims to discuss the possibilities offered by the EMdiálogo Portal concerning a change in the Brazilian High Schools’ curriculum practices, since this educational cyberspace operates with young cultural elements, especially the cyberculture.
