AS LUTAS FEMINISTAS E OS DIREITOS HUMANOS
OLHARES A PARTIR DE HERRERA FLORES
Abstract
This study aims to trace a brief history of the feminist movement in relation to the struggles for the realization and access to women's human rights at a global and Brazilian level. The reflections made throughout this study are based on the critical perspective of human rights proposed by Joaquín Herrera Flores (2009), understanding that these rights are more complex than they appear to be because they emerge in the midst of a patriarchal culture, which privileges subjects in gender, resulting in constant violations and violence to which women are subjected in all social spheres, making it necessary to carry out, therefore, the (re)invention of Human Rights. Therefore, the methodological procedure adopted was the bibliographic research, based on the books by Herrera Flores (2005, 2009), classic feminist books, as well as articles, choosing them for their relevance in relation to the research topic.
