Abstract

The teaching-learning process has been facilitated through diverse methodologies. This study aimed to delineate the TV Dental News extension project and its participant demographics from inception. Data spanning November 2015 to April 2023 was scrutinized using the YouTube Analytics application. Variables examined encompassed subscriber count, viewership, most popular videos, demographic information such as age and gender, geographical distribution by countries and cities, percentage breakdown of subscribers versus non-subscribers, and content focus areas. The statistical analysis employed descriptive methods, computing proportions along with measures of central tendency and variability. The project amassed 42,700 subscribers, housing videos across various specialized fields. Predominantly accessed subjects included Dentistry and Prosthodontics, culminating in a total view count of 3,542,717. Notably, 62.5% of viewers fell within the 25-64 age bracket, with a significant majority (66.1%) identifying as female. The outcomes underscore the significance of leveraging digital technologies in educational contexts.
