This text presents results of the extension project “Interfaces of education and teaching: production of tools and instrumentation of the History teacher practice in the Amazon countryside”, developed at the Cametá Campus linked to the Teaching, Research and Extension Support Integrated Program (PROINT in the Brazilian abbreviation) of Pará Federal University (UFPA) throughout 2010 and 2011. We aimed to demonstrate that the activities linked to the extension program and that were developed over the two years of the project were associated to the principle that the undergraduate History student education must be guided by the knowledge of the school concrete conditions, mainly, its students’ background and the social context in which individuals and the institution are inserted.Downloads
