The UEG Academic Music Video Festival as a unifying project of the audiovisual market

Abstract

This article will describe the stages of the extension project IFIDEVIDULA – Music Video Academic Festival/ State University of Goiás (UEG). The festival was created within the subject Audiovisual Language (Cinema and Audiovisual Course) and is included in the framework of projects approved by the Pro-Rectory of Extension and Student Affairs (PrE), within the new RICEX (Institutional Regulation of Curricular Extension). The festival is open to the entire audiovisual and musical community of Goiás and also has a non-negotiable pedagogical content, since the music videos are produced having as basic principles the critical discussion of the contents conveyed by the artists and the social responsibility that audiovisual producers have to adopt in their works.
