Ethics in research and publication, conflicts of interest and anti-plagiarism policy.

c) Observe the Resolutions Resolution 466/2012 / CNS / MS (Research Ethics with human beings) and Resolution 510/2016 / CN / MS. (Ethics in Research in Human and Social Sciences).

d) Articles by authors in Brazil who directly involve research with vulnerable populations must send, along with the original manuscript, a copy of the opinion of the Ethics Committee approving the research.

e) Authors should also consider the Codes or Declarations of Ethics of their research fields or professionals when appropriate. 

f) If the research project that originated the article has not been submitted to the Ethics Committee, it is recommended that the authors include, in the article, a section on research ethics (self-declaration of ethical principles and procedures, how support can be consulted: Mainardes and Carvalho, 2019, available at: http://www.anped.org.br/news/comissao-da-anped-apresenta-documento-etica-e-pesquisa-em-educacao-subsidios).

g) In case of ethical failures detected, the editorial committee will decide on the necessary measures, including indicating the retraction of the article with the correction of data and information and/or removal, in addition to possible legal actions if necessary.

2) Conflicts of interest:

‘a) Authors must inform conflicts of interest that occur in the research results, whether financial or personal. It is mandatory to inform all funding sources and associations involved.

b) Reviewers should not consider the evaluation of texts in which conflicts of interest arise, whether competitive or supplied with authors and authors or companies and institutions related to the text.

3) Plagiarism prevention policy

a) The Emancipação, after prior analysis regarding focus, scope and compliance with norms in general, may uses plagiarism control software to verify the article.

b) According to the guidelines, the works must be original contributions, previous works of the authors/authors must be cited when treated. If the text is a new version of the previous work, this information must be explicit (eg text published in a scientific event or parts of a dissertation or thesis). We emphasize that the text must configure a new and/or improved version of the text.
