Abstract

This paper analyzes, focused on some texts of Cordel Literature, available on the Internet, the impact of this kind of art once the authors incorporated preventive practices against Covid-19 in its themes, once its most remarkable traits are the popular and playful language and in order to inform its readers. The aim is to reflect folkcommunication as a tool and as a  bridge able to connect scientific and popular knowledge. The adopted methodology is content analysis and the study sample consists only of four texts published in 2020 and, according to them, it is possible to investigate and prove the efficiency of the the information and guidance on Covid-19, recommended by the World Health Organization, transmitted by verses and stanzas of a popular literature.
