Abstract

This text presents an artistic-literary intervention in a socio-educational unit that used the poetics of the word, the image, the trace as a possible mechanism for teenagers to look at and see themselves beyond the deprivation of liberty. So, how is it possible to understand the interference of literature and art in the adolescents’ subjectivity while they are away from social life and in deprivation of liberty? As a result, we highlight the adolescents’ active participation and involvement during the workshops, demonstrating in every look and expression, as well as in the positive reports made by them and by socio-educational agents, that the humanizing and socio-educational purpose with literature and art was accomplished.
