Autonomia, democracia e diversidade: práticas pedagógicas que favorecem esses valores

Abstract
O presente artigo aborda parte do trabalho de pesquisa concluído no ano de 2002. Apresento o projeto pedagógico “Ensino para a Diversidade” que promove, no interior da sala de aula, práticas pedagógicas favorecedoras de valores como a autonomia, a democracia e a diversidade. O Projeto referido foi implementado em nove escolas judaicas da cidade de Buenos Aires, Argentina a partir de 1997. O projeto original foi desenvolvido em Israel na década de 70, a partir de uma inquietação com a heterogeneidade presente nas escolas desse país advinda do grande fluxo de imigrantes. A motivação desse Projeto foi o respeito pelas diferenças, considerando que o papel da escola é dar respostas a estas diferenças adaptando o ambiente educativo às necessidades dos alunos e aos objetivos do programa de estudos. O nome original do Projeto é Hora’a Mutemet (hebraico) que significa Ensino Adaptado.
