Abstract
Escolar, a partir das concepções e entendimentos que
os agentes escolares de uma escola pública estadual
de Teresina-PI possuem do trabalho e da importância
desse profissional na escola, suas ações e interações no
contexto escolar, tendo como fio condutor as ideias de
Habermas (1989), a respeito do Agir Comunicativo, cerceado
pelos estudos de Carvalho (1989), Braga (1999),
Cunha (1999) e Saviani (2000). O trabalho, fruto de
uma pesquisa qualitativa de campo, de natureza etnográfica,
aponta para a falta de entendimento, por parte
dos agentes entrevistados, sobre o papel do supervisor
escolar, ainda concebido como fiscalizador e controlador
do trabalho do professor, exatamente pela falta de uma
política de comunicação que articule as ações propostas
pelo supervisor escolar, e a prática de professores e a
direção da escola pesquisada.
