About the journal

Revista Olhar de Professor is a continuous-flow academic journal proposed by the State University of Ponta Grossa (Paraná, Brazil). Since 1998, it has been promoting research and studies related to education and teacher training.

Focus and scope

It publishes scientific articles and, according to the existing flow, reflections on significant pedagogical experiences, reviews, interviews and texts of lectures given that bring the production of researchers related to research  teaching in the great area of education. It is aimed at teachers and researchers as well as undergraduate and graduate students in the areas of Education and the human sciences.

Mission

The journal’s main mission is to disseminate intellectual and academic activity in the area of education to enable different professionals to get to know the work of national and international researchers; to encourage academic debates in the field of pedagogy as well as discussions about educational policies, teacher training, educational methodologies, and educational knowledge and practices.

 

Periodicity

The journal has a continuous flow. The texts are available in PDF format.

 

Open access policy
This journal offers immediate free access to the content, following the principle that making knowledge available to the public free of charge offers greater worldwide democratization of knowledge.

Archiving
This magazine uses the LOCKSS system to create a file system distributed among the participating libraries and allows them to create permanent journal files for preservation and restoration.
